Equipment:
Peeler, Cutting Board, Knife, Pot, Wooden Spoon
Ingredients:
Apple – 3 (I recommend Macoun)
Cinnamon – 1 Teaspoon
Brown Sugar – 1 Teaspoon
Water – 1/2 Cup
Lemon – 3-4 Good Squeezes
*Makes about 2 cups of applesauce
Directions:
- Peel apples.
- Chop apples into about 1 inch pieces.
- Scoop apples into a pot. Add cinnamon, brown sugar, water, lemon and stir.
- Place on the stove and cook for 14 minutes on medium heat.
- As the apples start to soften (about 10 minutes in) mash them with a spoon. The sauce should start to get golden brown.
- Let cool slightly and enjoy!
