Buffalo Chickpea Salad


    Cutting board, Knife, Can Opener, Bowl, Fork


    Organic Chickpeas or Garbanzo beans – 1 15 oz can
    Mayo – 1/2 Tablespoon
    Onion – 1 Tablespoon, diced
    Buffalo Sauce (sauce with cayenne pepper base) – 2-3 Tablespoons
    Hot Sauce – 1 Tablespoon
    Lemon – Little bit of juice (about 1 teaspoon)
    Pepper – A few twists (about 1/4 teaspoon)

    *Pair with crackers or with lettuce and tomato on your favorite type of bread.


    1. Dice onions.
    2. Drain chickpeas, then place them in a bowl and mash with a fork or potato masher until the consistency is of mush or until 75% of the chickpeas have been smashed.
    3. Add mayo, diced onion, buffalo sauce, hot sauce, lemon juice and pepper to the mush, mix well.
    4. Enjoy this amazing, flavorful salad with a cracker or in a sandwich!
