Chocolate Chip Cookies

    Equipment:

    2 Mixing Bowls, Fork, Baking Sheet, Parchment Paper, Measuring Cups

    Ingredients:

    Butter – 1 Stick (1/2 Cup)
    Flour – 1 1/2 Cups
    Baking Soda – 1/2 Teaspoon
    Baking Powder – 1/4 Teaspoon
    Salt – 1/2 Teaspoon (use a little more if you use unsalted butter)
    Sugar – 1/2 Cup
    Brown Sugar – 1/2 Cup
    Egg- 1
    Vanilla Extract – 1 Teaspoon
    Chocolate Chips – 1 Cup

    Directions:

    1. Let the butter sit out for 2 hours to soften.
    2. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
    3. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
    4. In a separate bowl combine the butter and sugars!
    5. Once fully mixed add in the egg and vanilla.
    6. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and stir.
    7. Gently fold in the chocolate chips!
    8. Ball into equal sized cookies and place in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes (don’t overcook).
    9. Let the cookies cool for 2 minutes then enjoy with oat milk!!
