Equipment:
Cutting Board, Knife, Pan or Wok, Wooden Spoon
Ingredients:
Baby Bok Choy – 1
Garlic Oil – 1 Tablespoon (or you can use diced garlic and olive oil)
Soy Sauce (Shoyu) – 2 Teaspoons
Water – 1 Tablespoon
Pepper – A Few Twists
Garlic Salt – A Few Twists
Ginger Powder – 1 Teaspoon (or you can use fresh diced ginger)
Sesame Oil – About 1 Teaspoon
Directions:
- Wash the bok choy.
- Half the bok choy and quarter the stem.
- Turn the burner to medium heat and add the garlic oil to your pan or wok.
- Sauté the bok choy in the oil for about a minute.
- Add soy sauce, water, pepper, garlic salt, ginger and steam the bok choy.
- Once the water is cooked off (about 7-10 minutes) transfer to a plate.
- Top with sesame oil and enjoy as a side dish or on its own.
