Equipment:
Sharp Knife, Cutting Board, Spoon, Bowl or Tupperware, Pan, Wooden Spoon, Small Spatula, Scissors
Ingredients:
Yellow Onion – 1 Large
Butter – 2 Tablespoons
Vegetable Oil – 1 Tablespoon
Honey – 2 Tablespoons
Cayenne Pepper – 1/2 Tablespoon
Salt – 3 Twists
Pepper – A Good Helping (same as salt)
Sour Cream – 8 Oz
Cream Cheese – 8 Oz
Mayo – A big Spoon Full
Scallion (Chive) – 1 Large stock chopped
Onion Powder – 1/2 Tablespoon (not shown in recipe video)
Directions:
- Dice 1 large onion.
- Melt butter and oil in large pan.
- Add onions, honey, cayenne, salt and pepper to pan and sauté for about 15 minutes, until golden brown.
- Let sit until cool.
- Dice scallions (chives) into small pieces.
- Combine sour cream, cream cheese and mayo into a Tupperware or bowl.
- Add cooled onions, onion powder and chives to cream mixture, combine well.
- Enjoy with ridged chips.
