Honey Onion Dip


    Sharp Knife, Cutting Board, Spoon, Bowl or Tupperware, Pan, Wooden Spoon, Small Spatula, Scissors


    Yellow Onion – 1 Large
    Butter – 2 Tablespoons
    Vegetable Oil – 1 Tablespoon
    Honey – 2 Tablespoons
    Cayenne Pepper – 1/2 Tablespoon
    Salt – 3 Twists 
    Pepper – A Good Helping (same as salt)
    Sour Cream – 8 Oz
    Cream Cheese – 8 Oz
    Mayo – A big Spoon Full
    Scallion (Chive) – 1 Large stock chopped
    Onion Powder – 1/2 Tablespoon (not shown in recipe video)


    1. Dice 1 large onion.
    2. Melt butter and oil in large pan.
    3. Add onions, honey, cayenne, salt and pepper to pan and sauté for about 15 minutes, until golden brown.
    4. Let sit until cool.
    5. Dice scallions (chives) into small pieces.
    6. Combine sour cream, cream cheese and mayo into a Tupperware or bowl.
    7. Add cooled onions, onion powder and chives to cream mixture, combine well.
    8. Enjoy with ridged chips.
