Equipment:
Mixing Bowl, Oven Safe Pan, Tongs
Ingredients:
Ground Beef – 1 Pound
Egg – 1
Worcestershire Sauce – 5 Squirts
Bread Crumbs – 1/4 Cup (enough so that the mixture is slightly sticky)
Salt – A Few Twists
Pepper – A Few Twists
Bacon Fat or Oil – About 1 Tablespoon
Directions:
- Mix together ground beef, worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper in a large bowl, I think it is easiest to use your hands.
- Roll the mixture into balls the size of a lime, should make about 10.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Heat up an oven safe pan on medium and coat with bacon fat or any type of oil.
- Place the meatballs on the pan and sear each side for about a minute.
- Once all the sides are brown and crispy place the pan in the oven for 10-12 minutes.
- Take out and make sure the internal temperature of the meat is 160°F. If it’s not there yet keep the balls in for an other minute or 2.
- Let cool and enjoy the meatballs with pasta and marinara!!
