Pizza Dough


    Bowl, Spoon, Measuring Cups, Measuring Spoons, Rolling Mat or Flat Surface, Rolling Pin, Baking sheet or Pizza Stone


    Instant Dry Yeast – 1/2 Packet or 1 1/8 Teaspoons
    Flour – 1 3/4 – 2 Cups
    Salt – 1 Teaspoon
    Sugar  – 1/2 Teaspoon 
    Warm Water – 3/4 Cup
    Olive Oil – 1 Tablespoon + 1 Teaspoon

    *This is Bobby Flay’s recipe, I just halved it.


    1. Mix flour, sugar, yeast and salt in a bowl.
    2. Gradually add in water while you mix the batter.
    3. Add olive oil to the batter.
    4. Knead dough into a ball until the mixture is no longer sticky (adjust with flower or water depending on texture.)
    5. Grease bowl with about a teaspoon of olive oil, add the dough and cover with plastic wrap.
    6. Let the dough sit for at least an hour, the dough should double in size.
    7. Lightly flower a flat surface and roll the dough out with a rolling pin.
    8. Put a very small amount of olive oil and flour onto a baking sheet or pizza stone.
    9. Add the dough to the baking sheet and top with your favorite pizza ingredients.
