Tortilla Chips

    Equipment:

    Knife, Cutting Board, Frying Pan, Tongs, Plate, Paper Towel

    Ingredients:

    Flour or Corn Tortillas – 2
    Avocado Oil – About 2 Tablespoons

    Directions:

    1. Leave tortillas out overnight to dry them out or place them in the oven at 350°F for 5 minutes or 200°F for 10 minutes.
    2. Fill the frying pan up with avocado oil.
    3. Turn the stove to medium heat and heat up the oil.
    4. Cut tortillas into chips (in half then in thirds).
    5. Add the tortilla slices to the oil and cook on each side for 2 minutes. NOTE: Turn the heat down slightly, the second batch may cook quicker.
    6. Dry the chips on a paper towel lined plate.
    7. Make some nachos with the chips or simply enjoy with some salsa and guac!
